Russell Wilson is retired as conductor of choir and orchestra at USU Eastern. An active composer, he has written more than sixty works for choir, wind symphony and orchestra. His most popular work is 'Prelude To Glory' for chorus, soloists and orchestra, premiered by the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC. He is currently Director of Music at Fullerton First United Methodist Church
He has been a long-time floral photographer, moving gradually over the last few years into making images that were more and more impressionistic, until arriving at his current interest in creating entirely abstract images from digital photographs by enhancing and manipulating them with digital tools. It seems only natural that he would eventually settle into abstract art images, since his first love - music - is also so abstract.
